Rocky Mountain Health Care Services, a local non-profit, has exciting positions open in our Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)!
Permanent Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant:
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program; current PTA license is preferred but not required. Candidate must have a minimum of one year experience working with the elderly population. Candidate must be skilled in the use and maintenance of physical therapy equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to: assist in facilitating treatment to PACE Participants, (i.e., exercises, massages, electrical stimulation, paraffin baths, hot and cold packs, traction, ultrasound, etc.)
The physical demands of this job include, but are not limited to: the ability to lift/carry up to 65 pounds and push or pull objects exceeding 150 pounds; standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arm’s length for prolonged periods of time; working under stressful conditions.
Must have good communication and documentation skills and enjoy working with computers. Candidate must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check and check of driving history.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 6 hours per day
Pay rate: $15.00-$17.50/hr DOE
